Relocation via Astrology, Part II - "Local Space"

Part II was a bit slow in coming because I relocated to Ashland, Oregon. Trees 
do it for me, and they still have an abundance of them in Oregon. They also have 
the Pacific Ocean within a short drive and many tumbling streams that turn in to 
delightful wild rivers.

Left Nixa, Missouri because I learned in early February from high school students 
that it was the KKK headquarters for Missouri. They admitted that in the 1998-1999 
school year there were two "black" girls in school and that they harassed them 
everyday at school, wrote mean things on their lockers, until they moved away. 
This appalled me so I told my local banker and his co-worker informed me that he 
graduated from Republic High a couple of years ago. They had one "black" male 
student and "they didn’t harasses him at school but at his home". I inquired 
what happened and he said they moved away because when they called the Police 
they were extremely slow in responding, if they came at all, and when they 
arrived they did nothing."
  
Nixa, Missouri is currently building a state-of-the-art high school. It could 
almost be called a "Palace". But I wonder how they can obtain any Federal funding 
if a Principal and Administration can allow this harassment to continue daily 
right under their noses. Maybe they were asleep? Since I’m not a fan of the KKK 
or their unethical actions I decided to move before I found a cross on my front 
yard. My heart is with the two teenage girls and young man and their families who 
had to endure such meanness and  unethical behavior so early in their lives simply 
because of the color of their skin. I sincerely hope they rise up and become 
leaders in their new communities.

"Local Space" is the other relocation system offered by Astrologers to help you 
find a place where you can thrive. I can give you the freedom of choice in 
determining how you may want to live and where you should travel to or relocate. 
Locality astrology can tell you what influences are at work wherever you may be 
on the planet. Each direction of the compass will affect your psychological and 
physical health depending on the position of the planets in your Natal chart. It 
is important to have the correct time of your birth for this system to be 
effective. It is a person centered astrology, for you are the center with the 
zenith directly above you and the nadir directly below. In a "Local Space" chart, 
planetary positions are indicated in degrees of azimuth.

If your Jupiter is on your Ascendant, in the east of your chart, it would bring 
abundance and opportunities into your life if you left your home in an eastern 
direction each day. This line is traced around the world from the place of your 
birth back to it again. You will see on the maps the opposite point of the planet 
from your birthplace which is usually the south Indian Ocean for most people born 
in the USA. In using this method it is best to live on your Sun, Moon, Venus, 
and Jupiter lines. If you are a writer, living on a well aspected Mercury line 
would be excellent. If you are an artist or musician, living on a well aspected 
Neptune line should facility the expression of your talents. The Moon Nodes, 
which are really a point in space is also given in the map. But you must remember 
that one half of the line is actually your South Node and not the most desirable 
line to live on. The best book on "Local Space" is "Planets In Locality", by 
Steve Cozzi 1988.

It is a common practice to have your Local Space chart copied onto a clear plastic 
sheet, called a view cell or transparency. Then you can lay it over a map of a 
City, State, or Country and see the directions your better lines lead. You can 
also do the same over the floor plan of your home or apartment. In my home only 
one faucet out of several kept me calling the plumber. Yes, it was on my Neptune 
line in the home.

Please remember that as stated in the last essay, the cardinal directions, East, 
South, West and North of a natal chart are the exact opposite of a road map. The 
East point of the chart is called the Ascendant or "rising sign" and is on the 
left side of the circle. It is the line of the first house cusp. It moves one 
degree approximately every four minutes therefore it is the fastest moving point 
in the chart. That is why the exact birth time is so important.

The chart of the State and City you are planing on moving to is another 
consideration in relocation. There are several charts for the birth of USA but 
most of them are for July 4, 1776. The positions of the planets are known; Sun 
in Cancer, Moon in Aquarius, etc. The Moon South Node is supposed to be 6 degrees 
Aquarius so if you have an important planet at that degree it may have 
ramifications with your life in the USA. The day of the entrance of States into 
the Union are given but the exact time is not always certain. Then there are a 
few States in the South that entered the Union twice, so which to use? The date 
of Incorporation of a City can usually be found by checking the records at City 
hall. But the exact time of the filing is often hard to find. A State to avoid 
would be one with their Saturn, Neptune, or Pluto conjunct (five degree orb 
allowed) your Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus or Jupiter. Another thing to avoid is to 
have your Sun or Moon (the lights) in the 12th or 6th house of the State or City 
chart. This is harder to assert because of the inexactness of the time of entering 
the Union or the incorporation of the City. The best book for birth dates of 
States and Cities is "Horoscopes Of The Western Hemisphere" by Marc Heeren 
Penfield 1984.

If you know that you are being transferred to Dallas, it would be wise to have 
your birth chart drawn for that location. This would be a relocation chart with 
your birth date and time the same but with the Longitude and Latitude of the new 
city. If you are moving from Kansas City there won’t be much change but if you 
move a distance from the East or the West your Ascendant and Midheaven will 
change and the aspects to these two points from your natal planets will affect 
your health and career prospects. The planets will be in the same degree as your 
birth chart but they may move into different houses which can be either 
beneficial or adverse. This service costs only five dollars and can tell you a 
great deal.

If you travel a great deal it would be helpful to have an Astro*Carto*Graphy and 
a Local Space Map of your birth chart in hand before you pick out the next exotic 
local.
